Creating digital mapping data can be costly and difficult to fund; therefore, in order for Arkansas to make wise investments, this data needs to be coordinated and collaborated with other entities so that many different groups can share these resources. We coordinate geospatial activities with all levels of government and the private sector. We strive to coordinate, publish and promote the best Geographic Information System (GIS) data possible for Arkansas. The priority work is accomplished through our program activities.
